The Writer’s Retreat Ground Floor Apartment is open for business as Self Catering accommodation. We are child and dog-friendly. The Apartment is on the ground floor of The Lawns House, and is available when the house is not in use.
The apartment is of very high standard, with ample private parking, in Central Holt, within short walking distance of all main attractions. The HotSpring Relay hot tub is available as standard, as well as a huge private lawn area.
Sleeps 2 in the double room , and additional 2 in the drawing room. Independent access to bathroom from both rooms.
Superfast Fibre Broadband Wi-Fi available as standard, free of charge.
Dogs are welcome, but an extra cleaning charge of £30 applies.
Access to the play and picnic area of the garden, includes table tennis, playground/trampoline/picnic bench. The area is shared with other guests of the Lawns Estate.
Private off-road parking. Access is from the street (Kerridge Way) and is completely independent from the rest of the estate. The apartment is all on one level so making it ideal for people experiencing mobility difficulties. Furniture is flexible and uncluttered with plenty of floor space and no carpeting.
Towels and linen are provided.

Apartment bookings are flexible, and daily bookings are taken for any time of the year.
Prices range from £120 to £350 per night depending on the date and the amount booked – please enquire.
Dog charge is £30 per stay.
